Privacy Policy
This page is a plain-language summary provided for transparency. It is being finalized and should be reviewed by legal counsel before being relied upon commercially.
This summary explains how ChronosCodex handles data. Insurance agencies use ChronosCodex to manage their own clients; in most cases the agency is the data controller and ChronosCodex acts as a processor on the agency's behalf.
Data we process
Agencies enter household, member, policy, and communication data to run their business. We also collect standard account and usage information needed to operate the service.
How data is used
- To provide and operate the CRM for the agency
- To secure the service and prevent abuse
- To support and communicate with account holders
What we do not do
We do not sell personal data. We do not use an agency's client data for advertising.
Sharing
Data may be processed by infrastructure and communication subprocessors strictly to deliver the service (for example, hosting, email, and SMS delivery).
Website analytics
We measure how visitors use chronoscodex.com, the public demo at chronospreview.com, and the sign-up and log-in pages of app.chronoscodex.com, so we can tell which pages help people and where sign-up gets stuck. We use our own first-party measurement. There are no advertising pixels, no third-party analytics tags and no cross-site tracking cookies.
What is recorded:
- The page address without its query string (for example
/pricing). The only query values kept are campaign tags that start withutm_, such asutm_source=chatgpt.com. - The domain of the site that referred you (for example
google.com), never the full address of that page. - A random identifier kept in your browser's session storage. It is not a cookie, is not shared with other sites, and is cleared when you close the tab.
- Clicks on a small set of named buttons and links, such as "start sign-up" or "open the demo". We record the fixed name of the button, never the text on your screen or anything you type.
- Your browser's user-agent string, a coarse location (region and country only, never city or precise coordinates) and the name of your network provider, as reported by our network provider.
- Your IP address in shortened form only. The last part is removed before it is stored (the last 8 bits of an IPv4 address; everything after the first 48 bits of an IPv6 address), so the stored value points to a network block, not to your device. A full IP address is never stored, and neither is precise location.
What is not recorded: nothing is measured by this website analytics inside the signed-in ChronosCodex workspace, and none of the client, household or policy data that agencies keep in ChronosCodex is used for it. Automated traffic we can recognize (search crawlers, monitoring tools, headless browsers) is discarded.
Sign-up measurement: the sign-up page also records, under a random identifier, that the page was viewed, which step was reached, the campaign tags and referring domain described above, and a general device and browser type. If you go on to create an account, these records may be linked to that sign-up so we can see which steps work.
Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we count the page view without a session identifier and do not record your clicks, and the sign-up measurement records the step reached without campaign tags or the referring domain.
Retention: individual analytics records are deleted after 13 months. We may keep aggregated counts that do not identify anyone.
No sale: we do not sell analytics data and do not share it for advertising. It is processed by Senior Community Based Services, doing business as Chronos Codex CRM, which operates ChronosCodex, and by our hosting and network providers only to deliver and secure the service.
Retention & your rights
Data is retained while the account is active and per the agency's instructions; see Data Retention. Account holders may request access, correction, export, or deletion by contacting us.
